The Innocents music video film still

Film still from an old music video animation I did.

I never went to art or animation school, but if I did, this would have been my senior project. I worked on this for two weeks straight -- drawing this little garage band playing a song. I learned two very important things - character design simply (cause you have to draw ALOT) and storyboard everything.

Did I mention I animated the entire music video using markers and MS Paint? There is a lesson in there too.

You might also be wondering why the background is white. In animating, you have stills that are painted and overlaid on background images or mattes. That saves a vast amount of animating effort as well as keeping the background consistent.
